Sora allows you to read and listen to all of Lowther Hall's fiction eBooks and audiobooks. It can be used on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers, and the Sora app is available through the iTunes App Store and Google Play store.
With Sora you can:
With Sora, you can get free eBooks and audiobooks from your school.
1. If you are using your laptop, click here to go to the Sora website.
If you are using a phone or tablet, search for “Sora” in the Apple App store or Google Play store.

2. In Sora, if you can see a big blue button that says Lowther Hall, click that button!
3. If you can’t see Lowther Hall, then click “Not your school? Switch schools”, which brings up the screen below.
If you are at school, click the blue button “Yes, use my location”.
If you are not at school (at home or elsewhere), click “No, I’ll search for my school”. On the next page, type “Lowther Hall” into the search bar and select Lowther Hall:
4. On the next screen, select “Lowther Hall Anglican School” – ticked green in the image below.
Please note: Do not select the option "Lowther Hall Anglican School (Simple Login)" - it will not allow you to login.
5. Click the blue button: “Sign in using Lowther Hall Anglican School”
6. Then sign in using your usual Lowther Hall username and password. This is the same one you would use to log into your school email account or to sign into Lowther Link. Please speak to the IT Helpdesk if you need help with this login.
7. Browse the Explore tab and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.
8. Close the book and go to your Shelf to see all the books or audiobook you have on loan.
From there, you can:
Sora syncs between whichever version you use it in, app or browser, so you can easily keep reading/listening even if you switch devices.
