Orlan'Merd'a d'artista' (1961) bt Piero Manzoni is an artwork which consists of cans of (supposedly) the artist's own excrement. The artist sold these cans literally for their weight in gold (at the same price as the value of gold at that weight).
Mark Quinn's works are casts of his own body. They include 'Self' which is a frozen cast of his own head, the material he used to make the cast - his own blood!
