A notebook is like a folder for all your notes.
To create a notebook:
1. In the desktop client, right click on 'notebooks'
2. Create new notebook
3. Name your notebook (put your name first so your teacher knows who it belongs to
To share a notebook:
1. Right click on your notebook
2. Select 'share notebook'
3. Select 'share with individuals'
4. Type in your teacher's email address and click 'share'
You can drag and drop images from anywhere on your computer (or the web) into a note!

Install Evernote Web Clipper to your web browser to save anything you see online—including text, links and images—into your Evernote account with a single click.
1. Go to Evernote desktop client
2. In the top menu bar, go to Tools > Account Info
3. A unique email address will appear under 'email notes to'. Eg. lowtherlrc.XXXXXX@m.evernote.com
4. Save this email address as a contact in Outlook.
5. Whenever you would like to save anything to Evernote, you can email it to that address.
NOTE: Maximum note size is 25mb. If your video is larger than this, it will not save to Evernote.
ANOTHER NOTE: Anything you email into Evernote will automatically be saved in your default notebook. If you want it to be saved somewhere else, add @notebook name in the subject line of your email. Eg. @Science goes in my science notebook. See more smart filing tips on the right of this page.

Smart filing allows you to email a note into a specific notebook, add reminders and tags.
Add !date to set a reminder. E.g. !tomorrow will set a notification for tomorrow, !wednesday for next wednesday, or pick a specific date using the format !YYYY/MM/DD.
Add @notebook name to designate the destination in your Evernote. I.e. @Science goes in my science notebook.
Add #tag name to add tags. Eg. #lesson plan. This feature works only with existing tags in your account (you cannot create new tags).
Be sure to follow this order: subject/title, reminder, notebook name, tags.
Save your Evernote email address so that you can send things into Evernote.
On your iPad/mobile device,
1. Open Evernote App
2. Tap on your username in the top left corner
3. Tap “Evernote email address”
4. Add to contacts
On your PC
1. Open Evernote PC Client
2. Go to Tools > Account Info.
3. Copy and paste into your Outlook contacts
